Activity Ideas by Type

Walking & Running

Brisk walks, jogging, hiking, and off-leash runs. Split longer walks into 2-3 sessions. Morning and evening walks are ideal in hot weather. Aim for varied routes to keep it interesting.

Active Play

Fetch, tug-of-war, frisbee, agility courses, swimming, and chase games. High-intensity bursts followed by rest. Dog parks for socialisation. For cats: wand toys, laser pointers, climbing.

Mental Stimulation

Puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, training sessions, nose work, hide-and-seek with treats. Mental exercise is just as tiring as physical — and crucial for behavioural health.
